How many times have you needed a game that you can teach your students quickly? We all need math games with few rules that can be played quickly and easily in pairs or small groups. These quick play math games can be taught in 2-3 minutes and rounds can take 5 minutes or less. The other thing I love about these games is that except for Hungry, Hungry Numbers they don’t require any special equipment or game boards. The games can be played with dice, cards, base 10 blocks, counters and 100 charts, all things that we have in our classrooms already and are familiar to students. The games in this set are ones my students ask to play again and again and make great fast finisher activities that continue to reinforce skills with out feeling like work.
